CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Abs Blast: Our abs classes are a great way to tone up the troublesome abdominal region! The class consist of specific moves, sequences and routines put together to give you a great abdominal workout. Even if you have never been to a class before and simply want to tone up this class is a fun alternative to the gym and is suitable for all ages and abilities.

Circuit Training:Circuit training is a combination of six or more exercises performed with short rest periods between them for either a set number of repetitions or a prescribed amount of time. One circuit is when all of the chosen exercises have been completed. Multiple circuits can be performed in one training session.

Fit4: Fit4 is a challenging but fun class concentrating on control and technique using a mixture of  equipment and body weight to condition your whole body. Brilliant for all levels of fitness – especially those that want something a bit different.

Kettlebells : Strengthen and tone your whole body! You will swing, lunge and squat your way to a more toned body whilst improving your strength, flexibility and cardiovascular endurance in our Kettlebells class.

Stretch : Our stretch classes are designed to move and stretch the entire body whilst giving the core a really good workout. Classes are stimulating, light hearted and choreographed in such a way that all levels of fitness can attend and enjoy.

Spinning: Spinning is the popular instructor led group fitness activity sweeping the nation! Participants ride a number of stationary bicycles in a fitness studio alongside excellent instructors and a great soundtrack. Spinning is an excellent cardio based exercise allowing you to increase muscle strength, fitness, and endurance! 

Metafit: Metafit is a type of HIIT which aims to increase the efficiency of the workout style and its key characteristic is it focuses on core and bodyweight exercises, with no complex moves involved.

Pilates: Pilates is a form of low-impact exercise that aims to strengthen muscles while improving postural alignment and flexibility.

WOD: WOD is a group exercise, studio-based class here at PT Fitness. The concept taps into the culture of the functional training trend, encouraging competition and camaraderie between you and those sweating and swearing next to you.
